Sake
- Japan's largest sake producer: Hyogo Prefecture
- The Nada Gogo region boasts the highest production volume in the prefecture and is blessed with a climate suited to sake brewing. Thank to this, it is said to be "Japan's best sake-producing region" with excellent water (Miyamizu), rice (Yamada Nishiki), and techniques (Tamba Toji). During the Edo period, sake brewers in Itami, Nishinomiya, and Nada delivered high-quality sake, praised as "kudari-zake", to Edo by barrel ships dedicated to transporting sake, setting the standard for sake. "Itami Morohaku" and "Nada no Kiippon" sakes have been designated as Japan Heritage.
